I'm curious what alternative products you use and why you use them? I was frustrated with the plethora of ingredients that I could not pronounce let alone know what they were for or what they were doing to my body. How can i get my DD to go to sleep by herself and stay asleep through the night? I've tried the bedtime routine (bath book) but nothing is working. ive tried to let her cry it out but i cant bring myself to let her cry for more than 10 min w/o rushing in and rocking her to sleep with a bottle, n yes i kno that is a bad habit to start.

My husband has been relocated through his job and my mother is not taking it very well. She is being very passive and making me feel guilty. Any advice?

My husband, 3 month old daughter and I will soon be moving to Baton Rouge and I am looking for other breastfeeding mothers for support. I would like to join a mother's group so I can meet people and what not, but I will eventually be going back to work. If you live in the area and could give me some advice or want to be friends please let me know. Thanks!

Has anyone used a crib tent? If so how did it work and would you recommend the one you bought?

At what age can you start you baby with juice?

My son had his "schedule" for a while...sleeping from about 10 pm, until 7, having a little milk and then back to bed until 10 am...

Now if I put him down, he will sometimes sleep for a little while, and then cry and cry. We tried to let him "cry it out" but he makes himself throw up. EVERY TIME. So now, everytime he cries I run up to his room, to prevent him from throwing up.

My 3yr old boy is hitting me and I don't know what to do to make him stop. I have tried time-out, sending him to his room, taking away a toy if he hits me with one, and I have even, regrettably, tried popping his hands. None of these things work. I did not like popping his hands at all and I do NOT want to spank him. I don't know what else to do. Please help!!

My little girl will be one in October. Does anyone know of a place we can host a party for about 70 people that doesn't cost a lot in Chicago? I'm just looking for a room to use.
