Overwhelmed
I am a single mom in Cleveland, Ohio and I am really struggling to maintain. My mother recently passed away from metasticized Breast Cancer, 3 months later we lost the family home to Foreclosure and my car was repossessed. I am going to be laid off from my job in a month. Ihave 2 gilrs, 2 & 8. I am extremely overwhelmed and scared for all of us. Just wanted tos ee if anyone had some input as to how to cope with all of this

That sounds like a difficult position to be in. II am very sorry to hear about your mother and the loss of your job. Do you belong to a church? If not regardless of your beleifs the church community can offer a place to gain strength from others so any church will do you don't have to use it for religious purposes but the purpose of community. You may find that there is alot of support out there that can help you maintain your sanity. Are you aware of the state aid you can get? If not make a visit to your local state office for assistance programs. Is the girl's father able to help at all. How are the girls coping with everything? How are you currently coping with things?

I find that friends and family really are a way to cope. havin someone to vent to is always a good thing. I am so sorry to hear that you are going through a rough time. We all have a hard time. My fav saying is Tough times don't last but tough people do. If you ever need someone to talk to I am always an open ear
