Repetition

This repetitive phase is driving me crazy!

I am so tired of singing the same songs and reading the same books over and over and over. Last week we were driving back from Boulder and we sang "old McDonald" for 20 minutes because anytime we tried to stop Kaleb started screaming.

I know this is a normal stage and the repetition is helping Kaleb learn about the world (I've been reading about it on baby center) but I hope this stage ends soon. I don't know how much more I can take. Speechless smiley

I wish I could tell you it only gets better, but then comes the stage where they have to ask the why to every little thing. After that come what I call the wanting to reason with you. My six year old daughter has to try and bargain with me about every little thing involving her. If I try to talk to her about anything she has to go on about some other things that have nothing to do with it. On the other hand my four year old never asks anything if she is asked to go to time out she goes without even asking why. She is my dream come true. jejejee

Hey Esmeralda its nice to see some new moms here! And Alicia I know how you feel. Its so frusterating, Caleb used to do it to me about reading books I got sooooo tired of the same stupid books. they will get over it eventually they will start to do other things and then flit from one thing to the next and that will exhaust you! We've all been there. I wish there was some great advice I could give you but theres not... sorry to be so useless! Smiley Courtney Lee

Thanks! I'm sure the next stage will annoy me too but right now it is just nice to hear that this repetition will end eventually.

I play the same CD over and over for Garrett in the car it drives me nuts!!
