Have you tried telling him that he will be a "big boy" if he goes to the toilet?

PermalinkIs he in preschool/day care of some kind??? Usually kids that age will cave in to peer pressure and want to be like the other kids. If he is, put him in pull ups, not underwear, and send him to school/day care in them. The embarrassment of being a "big boy" in diapers in front of his friends may be enough to break him of it. If you've already tried this, I honestly would ask your pediatrician for ideas. I feel for you...you've tried everything imaginable!!!

PermalinkPotty wise for toddlers is a really good book. I'd give that a try. I think one of the authors last name is Ezzo.
