Intro
Hi all APers! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a SAHM to a beautiful 3 month old baby boy and loving every minute of it (even the fussy mins.). We just naturally started APing, and then I happened to read a book by Dr. Sears and discovered it has a name. I love APing - our baby is EBF and we're co-sleeping. I have a Baby Bjorn, a ring sling and a Hotsling - sometimes he doesn't care to be in them, but I try to wear him a few days a week. But otherwise I am holding him usually anyway - I just wanted to say hello!

Hi Lynn, welcome to the group. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself as a new mom -- good for you.
My daughter, who never liked the sling, also went through a stage where she didn't want to be in the Baby Bjorn either. But as soon as she was big enough to turn around and face the world in it, she LOVED it. They're all different, that's for sure.
Co-sleeping can be great but can be full of pitfalls too. We did it with my daughter and we're STILL (at 3 1/2 years old) working on really getting her to stay in her bed all night. Not all kids react this way and then some parents don't mind having their kids in the bed at this age (I might not if she wasn't so darn wiggly and didn't keep us awake...although I do like the time alone with my husband too). But if you have sleep-related questions, come on over to the Sleep Forum, the group that grew out of my own frustrations.
